Aloha Stadium

For over 30 years, Aloha Stadium has been a fixture of sports and entertainment in Hawaii. Located near the turquoise waters of Pearl Harbor and only minutes from the Honolulu International Airport, the 50,000 seat venue has played host to a number of soccer, football, and baseball events since its doors first opened on September 12, 1975.

The stadium was once configured as a multi-purpose facility complete with mobile grandstands to allow for separate field configurations. In keeping with the times, Aloha Stadium was renovated in 2003 when state-of-the-art FieldTurf replaced the aging AstroTurf surface.

Professional soccer last visited Aloha Stadium in 2005 when the Los Angeles Galaxy played the D.C. United in a preseason match attended by 14,578 fans. It marked the first professional game since Team Hawaii, a former club of the now defunct North American Soccer League, played their final match in 1977. Currently, Aloha Stadium is home to the University of Hawaii Warriors football team in addition to the annual National Football League's Pro Bowl and various NCAA football bowl games.
